At Konkus Marble & Granite, we believe getting new countertops should feel exciting, not overwhelming. From the first showroom visit to the final installation, our team works closely with you to make the process simple, organized, and stress-free. Whether you’re updating a kitchen, bathroom, bar area, or commercial space, we guide you through every step so you know exactly what to expect.
The process starts with a visit to our showroom where you can view full slabs, edge profiles, and stone selections in person. You’re welcome to stop by anytime, but scheduling ahead can help ensure a design specialist is available to assist you.
To make the most of your visit, we recommend bringing:
Seeing materials in person helps you compare colors, patterns, and finishes under proper lighting so you can confidently choose the right stone for your space.
Once you’ve selected your material, our team will help finalize the details of your project. We’ll review layout options, edge styles, sink selections, overhangs, seams, and any special requests.
After the design is finalized, we’ll provide a detailed quote and review the next steps with you. At this stage, customers sign the sales order and what to expect form before placing a deposit to move the project into scheduling.
Our goal is to make sure every detail is clear before production begins so there are no surprises later in the process.
After your cabinets are installed and ready, we’ll schedule a template appointment with our highly trained measuring team. During this visit, we take precise digital measurements to ensure your countertops fit properly and align accurately with walls, sinks, appliances, and other features.
Before this appointment, we recommend:
Accurate measurements are one of the most important parts of a successful countertop installation, and our team takes the time to get every detail right.
Once measurements are approved, your project moves into fabrication. We use advanced stone fabrication technology and precision cutting equipment to shape your countertops with accuracy and consistency.
During production, our team carefully cuts, polishes, and finishes your slab while paying close attention to seam placement, edge details, and overall craftsmanship. Every project is fabricated specifically for your home and layout.
The final step is installation day. Unlike many contractors, all of our installation professionals are in-house KMG employees. We do not outsource our installation work, which helps us maintain quality control and provide a consistent experience for our customers.
Our team treats your home with care throughout the installation process while ensuring your countertops are installed securely, cleanly, and correctly. Once complete, we’ll review the finished project with you and answer any final questions so you can confidently enjoy your new space.
Choosing the right countertop material should feel clear, not overwhelming. Our team is available to review options, answer questions, and help match materials to your home and lifestyle.
